Graphic design was never my first choice for a career field despite growing up creatively inclined. I only found out during my last year of high school that it was an option open to me, despite having never done anything like it before. Choosing this path—and committing to it—has been both equal parts rewarding as it was challenging.

I’ve learned a lot about myself through this program that I probably would’ve otherwise never realized or even acknowledged. Ultimately, design for me is a way to create something tangible that can coexist with us all. Whether it be out of practical use or simple enjoyment, it’s a sentiment that keeps me motivated to improve and grow even further as a designer.
